HOME SCHOOLER LITERATURE COMES ALIVE STORYTIME
Thursday, August 16, 10-11am. Not much sitting in this story time. Join Professional Storyteller, Rita Mazza, as participants get up and into stories and then are introduced to the origin of the story. This program is suggested for ages 5 and up, but younger siblings are invited to sit on a parent’s lap to watch.
STORIES IN THE STUDIO
Thursday, August 16, 6-7pm all ages (parents too!) are welcome for an hour of Folktales and Fairytales. Don’t just sit and listen but become a part of these interactive stories with Professional Storyteller Rita Mazza.

Science Classes for Homeschoolers Starting in Fall 2012
Classes are taught in Hyattsville near UMD.
1. 12 Week intensive high school Chemistry with lab starting August 23 and ending November 9. Classes are Thursdays 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and Fridays 10 AM to 1 PM. This class will have an online component organizing homework and graded work.
2. Upper Elementary to Middle School Wednesday Science Class starting September 12 and ending December 12. Classes are on Wednesdays from 10 to 11:30 AM.
3. Year long high school level Physics with lab class starting September 10 and ending May 31. Classes are on Mondays from 1 PM to 3 PM. This class will have an online component organizing homework and graded work.

Art Classes for Homeschoolers
I will be offering an oil painting workshop the week of August 6th through 10th. The class will meet every day from 9:00 -12:00. We will cover the basics of oil painting and will aim to complete a small painting by the end of the week.The cost is $200-all supplies included.The class is limited to 6 students-register soon!
